Cortana is the personal assistant for Windows 10 and it is really one of the coolest new features of Microsoft’s newest operating system.Cortana has a powerful built-in reminder feature that helps you set reminders for times, places and people. This voice-based virtual assistant also supports natural language search for files on your computer.

Besides, like Siri, Google Now, it can listen to a song playing near you and identify it. It can perform quick calculations and search the web with Google or another search engine instead of Bing, too.

Moreover, Cortana lets you track flights and packages using the flight number and tracking numbers. Other features of Cortana include: responding with directions, supporting alarms,  launching programs for you, sending emails using the built-in Mail app and the accounts you’ve configured there.

In addition to the features above, Cortana provides you with the daily weather forecast, showing you the current weather conditions for your region. However, you can know the weather conditions of other cities. Here are the steps that help you add one or more cities to Cortana weather on Windows 10. Let’s check out now!

Step 1: Open Cortana and choose the ellipsis (three dots) for more options

Step 2: Choose Edit in Notebook

You can make Cortana show weather for multiple cities on Windows 10.

Step 3: Scroll down to Cities you’re tracking and then tap on Add a city

Step 4: Type in the city that you want to track the weather conditions. You can add multiple locations by simply going back and adding the cities you want.

Note: You can turn Nearby Forecast on to get an idea of what the weather is like in the region. Besides, you can check to have Microsoft’s digital assistant notify you of severe weather.
