Windows 10 is the last operating system of tech giant Microsoft. Despite the fact that it was launched just some months ago, the software is running on at least two million computers all over the world. It offers plenty of new features and apps. From the new Start menu and Edge browser to apps and Cortana, all of them make Windows 10 the best Windows yet. However, in addition to great features, the new operating system gets complaints about its problems. One of them is the issue with Metro apps. Many users have their Metro apps fail to launch in Windows 10 and they don’t know the reasons why.

Many Windows 10 users experience the issue with the Metro apps, which fail to launch.

If you are encountering this app problem, here are two methods that you can follow to fix it. It’s very easy to do and just takes you a few minutes. Let’s get started!

Method 1:
Step 1: Launch an Elevated Powershell prompt by right-clicking the Start button and then taping “Command Prompt (Admin).” Next, type Powershell and hit Ctrl+Shift+Enter
Step 2: Copy and paste the following command in the running PowerShell window and execute it:
Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)AppXManifest.xml”}
Step 3: Wait for a while until the whole process is completed. When it comes to an end, try launching the store apps once again to see if your issue was solved.

Method 2:
The Apps troubleshooter can automatically identify and fix some problems with apps, so you can use this tool to solve your app problem. You can download this Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter for Windows 10 from Microsoft and then run it.
