Microsoft Edge is tech giant Microsoft’s swanky new web browser. It is the default browser for Windows 10, with a fresh new look and many fancy options. However, not all users are happy with it and don’t want to use it any longer. If you are already attached to a particular browser but you defaulted to Windows 10’s browser Microsoft Edge after your upgrade, you can switch back to Internet Explorer, Chrome or Firefox. But how? Here are 5 easy steps that you can follow to change the operating system’s default web browser back again in Windows 10. It’s very simple and takes less than 50 seconds to accomplish. Let’s get started!

Step 1: Open the Start menu in the lower left corner of your main Windows screen, and choose Settings. A new windows will open, so tap on the System option

Step 2:. On the next page, choose Default apps in the the pane on the left hand menu

It’s amazingly easy to change the default web browser in Windows 10.

Step 3: Scroll down to the bottom of the list and select the Web browser option

Step 4: Click on your current default browser

Step 5: In the resulting pop up menu, just select your preferred browser. If you don’t see your browser of choice, it means that it isn’t installed on your system. Therefore, you have to download it and then follow the same steps again.
