Windows 10 new build is coming
Windows 10 new build is coming
Ahead of RTM, no doubt. The software titan is gearing up to unleash a new Windows 10 build this week, which makes this release pretty much the last version before final launch.
There are enough signs that Microsoft aims to sign off the RTM build on July 9.
Which is practically a couple of days from now.
Depending on which part of the globe you’re located.
But while the RTM milestone is expected this Thursday, the software titan has confirmed plans for rollout of at least one more build before the end of the week. This was noted in a post today that discussed changes to the Xbox Music and Xbox Video app.
Basically, some new features are coming to both multimedia applications, and these will be released in conjunction with the new build coming to Windows Insiders later this week.
As explained:
“Windows Insiders who are a part of the Fast ring and upgrade to the next PC build will see these updates in the Store beta first. For anyone else, you’ll get to enjoy these updates with Windows 10 starting on July 29th.”
There is a possibility that Microsoft will deliver the RTM build to Insiders this week too, but what is not known how many interim version people enrolled in the program will get.
Before the final version, that is.
The last official release is build 101062, which was made available last week. But the good news is that there is at least one more preview version of the operating system to look forward to, after which the festivities of the final RTM release of Windows 10 will commence.
