Hi all, after posting Windows 10 newest build release, download from today now!, we’ve received many messages from you asking for a way to update Windows 10 for your Windows 7 PC (and Windows 8 & 8.1 also).
To make it simple, we’re introducing you steps to update to Windows 10 using a USB. We used an ASUS laptop for this demonstration.

1. Preparation
– A 4GB removable USB drive
– Windows USB/DVD Download Tool (Download here: http://wudt.codeplex.com/)
– Windows 10 Technical Preview ISO file (Download directly from Microsoft website here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/preview-iso)
– Make sure you have a Microsoft account and Internet access. It’s used to login your Windows 10 at the fist time it runs.

2. Steps
Firstly, run Windows USB/DVD Download Tool, choose the Windows 10 Technical Preview ISO file, click Next and select USB Device –> Begin copying

Now you have a USB which can be used to install Windows 10. Double-click to setup.exe

Just click Accept & enjoy your Windows 10 coming

After your Windows 10 is ready, login to your computer and enjoy the new wonderful OS. Make sure that you’ve already read some notice about some problems of Windows 10 Technical Preview here.

3. Some first feelings
The first feeling is Windows 10 run smoothly. The display is beautiful.
